No. Unfortunately the chair dimensions are not fit for the extra large and tall reception tables.
The doors will be unlocked by our staff at the start of your rental time. When booking, you must include your set up & clean up time within your rental time.
No. You must accurately complete and sign the rental agreement that covers all rules, regulations and payment schedules. You will then receive an online payment portal link for your booking payments. Your rental is not confirmed until we receive booking payments and the signed rental agreement.
Yes, we have 1 Dressing Room included in all Wedding & Banquet packages, and first-come-first-served for Hourly Room Rentals.
We do not have any catering packages here at Water's Edge. There is a Catering Kitchen you may rent for your outside Catering Team. We do not have any food packages, therefore, food inventory such as plates, utensils and linen napkins must be provided through your outside vendor. Water's Edge does not handle any outside vendor items, it must be set up, cleaned, served, etc. by your outside vendor.
Caterers must check out with the Water's Edge Manager before departure.
We do not have a preferred vendor list. You may bring in your choice of outside caterers, DJs, photographers, officiants, etc.
The only approved vendor list you must use is for stages, risers or platforms. You can find this approved list at the bottom of this page for download.
We do not. Water's Edge Event Operations Team will be in charge of staffing Water's Edge bartenders, dishwashers, building attendants, and will be responsible for the set up + break down of what is provided within your rental. The Event Operations Team will also manage payments and venue related questions from the time of booking through the end of your event.
Outside alcohol is not permitted by any client, vendor, family member, wedding party member, or guest. All alcohol must be supplied through Water’s Edge and will be served by our trained bartending staff. We have our own liquor license that keeps us liable for your guest’s alcohol consumption. This includes (but is not limited to) all party favors, liquor donations, toasts, and party-bus coolers. If outside alcohol is found on the premises, you are subject to a fine taken from your damage deposit.
Yes. Water's Edge gathers a Damage Deposit amount (amount based on rental type). This Damage Deposit payment will be refunded after your event, as long as you, your guests, and outside vendors stay within all rules and regulations of the signed rental agreement. This includes, but is not limited to, staying within your rented timeframe, no damage to the venue, etc.
Water's Edge trained bartending staff will be behind the bar during your event. We will also have dishwashers on staff who will be in charge of bussing your tables of empty glasses and restocking the bars throughout the event.
Tips for the Water's Edge Bartending and Dishwashing staff are greatly appreciated. Amount of staff at your event will be based upon your final headcount. This will be finalized during your "Final Walk-Through" appointment with the Event Operations Manager.
Yes. WiFi is available for you and your guests.
Our media includes LED TV(s), projector screen(s), wireless microphone(s), speaker system, podium and laptop for event use. We please ask that clients provide a USB drive with what is to be displayed. Our Water's Edge Team will help with connecting all media and getting it started for you.
Please note that our systems are Microsoft based and are not compatible with Apple products. Our media package includes the compatible laptop, any outside laptops cannot be connected to the system. The Operations Team likes to schedule a meeting for a media test prior to your event to ensure proper displays and needs.
We do not have any Bluetooth features. If Bluetooth is needed, please feel more than welcome to bring your own Bluetooth speaker.
The appliances include a warming unit, convection oven, limited refrigerator space, ice machine, cleaning station and dishwashing area. There is a parking area located right outside of the kitchen location for your caterers van/truck. There is also limited parking space for catering staff.
Water’s Edge does not provide tableside water service. We suggest talking with your caterer to see if they provide glassware and water pitchers along with their tableside water service. If you purchase a beverage package, we will provide a self-serve coffee, iced tea, and water station.
For liability purposes, we do not allow clients to store anything overnight at Water’s Edge. In addition, we host back-to-back events and are in a constant state of cleaning/flipping the space for the next step up needs up until the next event's start time. We are also part of a public golf club and have several people in and out of the building, we wouldn’t want anything to happen to your valuable items.
Round Tables = 72 inches.
Rectangular Tables = 5 foot x 2 foot.
Tall Cocktail Tables = 30 inch diameter, height is 42 inches.
Yes. All of our salons have doors leading directly out onto the deck with additional outdoor furniture overlooking the beautiful lake and water fountain.
Please note the use of this space is weather dependent.
Water's Edge does not provide any discounted rates. We work really hard to keep our prices as competitive as possible with the new, modern and updated venue we have to offer.
Weather Policy for outdoor ceremony spaces: Permit Holder/Client must notify Water’s Edge Staff 48 hours prior to the ceremony date if they wish to move their outdoor ceremony to the inside of the building. No changes whatsoever inside 48 hours regardless of location. In addition, no ceremony flip day-of, guests must sit at reception tables.

NOTE ABOUT STAGES/PLATFORMS/RISERS: If you plan on having a stage, platform or riser at Water's Edge, you must select a company from the City of St. Peters' Authorized Provider List (PDF below). The City makes no endorsement or representations regarding the Approved Provider List other than each vendor has met the business license requirements and provided the required insurance. All rentals of equipment are at the permit holder’s own risk.
